My journey as a doula was inspired greatly by my own birth experience.

In 2016, I gave birth to my son in a literal moving ambulance, with my midwife by my side, on the way to Holyoke Medical Center. I had labored at home for hours before we decided to make the transfer. My birth team consisted of 3 amazing midwives: Michelle Lesperance & Alli Cwalinski, Warm Welcome Birth, and Alex Holding, Fiddlehead Midwifery. My postpartum time was also well supported by my postpartum doula and lactation consultant, Michelle Hudasko. The following spring, I enrolled in Warm Welcome Doula Academy’s Postpartum Doula training and was certified later that year. See what I’ve been up to since, below!
